Lenovo IdeaPad L340 – What Is It?
For a powerful gaming laptop, Lenovo IdeaPad L340 seems super sleek and well polished. Its stylish design language borrows some from thin and medium-weight laptop rather than typical heavy gaming laptops.
Actually, the entire body is mostly black with some red accents here and there. The keyboard and trackpad are both well placed and above the level of the wrist, giving a sturdy construction and good ergonomics. There’s not much to say about the camera and speakers, except that they work just fine.
We put the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 to the test with several of our standard benchmarks. We compare it against two other leading models from different brands. The base model has an Intel Core i7-powered dual-core processor, paired with a quad HD (or better) LCD screen, along with fourGB of RAM and an extended warranty plan.
On top of that, the laptop comes with two USB ports, a FireWire port, an HDMI port, and a Dell Camerasound 4K digital camera, along with a Dell Thinvision scanner, and a hundred dollar bundle which contain a carrying case, adapter, and screen cleaner.
Testing the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 against the Dell Streak and HP Compaq laptop we saw some similar performance results, with the Lenovo doing slightly better in the visual compute benchmark. In the text processing test, the two models performed similarly.
The two laptops also performed equally well in the browsing test, where the Lenovo outperformed both of the Dell models. The only significant difference between the two models was in the multimedia test, where the Streak performed a bit worse than the L341.

The most important feature of any good laptop is the hardware, and the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 had everything going for it that many reviewers have been looking for. For example, it featured an aluminum unibody design, rather than the plastic casings used by many modern gaming notebooks.
The extra sound card, combined with an integrated graphics card, meant that gaming on the laptop would be more enjoyable than on other machines. In addition, the Geforce GT 650, which features two independent video outputs, provided an excellent gaming experience.
If you’re looking for an affordable laptop that still offers a lot of power, then the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 might just be what you’re looking for. It provided a smooth gaming experience with strong audio output, and the larger than usual battery allowed users to keep their energy levels high when playing.
Even though it’s priced a little lower than the other models on the market today, it offers the same level of powerful machines as higher end machines, for a much lower price. The low cost of the machine, combined with the excellent hardware, meant that it was one of the laptops on the market that could easily compete with gaming machines of its price.
When we looked at the performance, we found that the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 provided a similar level of performance to other top machines in its class. It scored a similar number of errors on the Random Access test, which is standardised for performance on this type of laptop.
However, it’s the memory that stole the show, with the ThinkPad L341 scores nearly twice as many error messages as the best performing laptop in the same test. In this case, the low level of software that came preinstalled on the machine was to blame.
It seems that most people installing programs onto their system needed to use the built in management software to remove any malicious codes or DLL errors that were left behind from the old software.
When it comes to battery life, the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 lasted six hours and forty minutes on the battery before powering down to save power. This means that you can carry out an excellent amount of gaming on this machine, or even record and stream live television without the need for a laptop replacement.
Its thin bezels help to make this notebook easy to hold, and the keyboard has been designed to be more ergonomic than most of the competition. This means that your hands will not get tired of handling the keys, and you will find typing on the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 an enjoyable experience.
In terms of specifications, the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 offers a choice of six different models. You can choose from a budget version to one that costs around twenty-five hundred dollars.
There is also a hybrid version that has features from both the regular and convertible versions. It has a quad-core processor, two gigs of ram, an eight mega-core graphics card, a 1.8 mega-inch touch screen, and a nine-inch widescreen display.
The IdeaPad L340 can be connected to your wireless network, so you will be able to connect to your office, home, or entertainment system without hassle.

How Can I Add SSD to Lenovo IdeaPad L340?
Do you have a laptop that you want to upgrade with the newest and most advanced technology, but do not have the budget because you live on a tight budget and you need to save as much money as possible?
There is no need to worry about it because one of the best ways that you can save money on this upgrade is by adding an SSD to your laptop. This is an excellent way to keep your laptop’s performance level up while saving money because you will no longer have to pay for expensive upgrades to your internal drives.
When you add SSD memory to your laptop, you will be able to make your laptop work like new, and you will never have to worry about your laptop’s performance ever again.
You might be wondering what an SSD is, or why you would need to add one to your laptop. The main reason why an SSD is so beneficial to your laptop is because of how much faster the memory is when compared to regular hard drive memory.
If you compare the speed of SSD memory to that of a standard hard drive, you will quickly see that SSD is the way to go, especially if you use your laptop on a regular basis.
When you have to wait around for something to load in your computer, and then have to restart it all over again because the memory is full, it can really slow down your computing experience. When you add SSD memory to your laptop, you will not have to worry about this ever again.
What Games Can Lenovo IdeaPad L340 Run?
The Lenovo IdeaPad L340 is a powerful gaming laptop that can give you what you need in a gaming laptop. As someone who has owned and tested several gaming laptops, I can tell you that the L341 isn’t the fastest or the flashiest, but it does pack quite a wallop as far as performance is concerned. What games can Lenovo IdeaPad L340 run?
When you look at the specification sheet for this laptop, you will be able to see that it offers plenty of power for the money that you are paying. It has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, which will be enough to run any game that you would want to play on it. There are many other options such as an AMD processor or an upgrade to a quad-core Intel i5, which will give you many more options when it comes to playing your games.
The screen on this laptop runs great at this resolution, and offers a crisp and clear display no matter what you are doing. The screen brightness is also great, which means that you will be able to read text on the screen without having to adjust the brightness. There are many other features on the L340 as well, and they all help make this a great gaming laptop. If you are looking for a machine that is portable, powerful, and flexible, then the IdeaPad L340 is something that you definitely want to take a look at.
Is Lenovo IdeaPad L340 a Good Laptop?
This is actually an excellent question to ask given that the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 has some pretty impressive features for the price. With a quad core processor and an advanced level of processing power, this machine is well capable of running Windows Vista or any other high end operating system.
If you’re looking at buying a new laptop, then you shouldn’t worry too much about the performance because it should be very high. The screen is also very nice for a ten-inch one that is around 250 pixels in size. On top of that, it also comes with four USBs, an optical disc burner, and a battery which should provide at least six to seven hours of solid use.
The problem with laptops like these is that they don’t last too long and as a result, they become outdated very quickly. When you buy a new laptop, you want to make sure that it will outlast the life of the computer.
This means that it should be able to run the latest operating system without crashing, and it should have all of the basic hardware functioning. Because of this, you should always take a look at what a particular laptop has to offer before deciding to buy it.
Fortunately, the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 does these things exceptionally well. It runs a lot faster than other machines on the market, it’s fairly durable, and it comes with several features that make it very easy to use. To conclude, this is a very good laptop which will give you many years of good use.
If you’re looking at buying one, this is a great place to start. Don’t expect to get a bargain basement laptop like you might with some of the competition, but if you look hard enough, you should be able to find something decent.
Can we Extend RAM in Lenovo IdeaPad L340?
Many of you would know that the first laptop that was manufactured by Lenovo was the Lenovo ThinkPad L340, and we had some fun time using it.
We tried running Vista OS on this laptop, but it worked quite well. However, after some time, we were getting quite bored with it and wished that we could upgrade it to the latest and greatest operating systems out there such as XP or Vista. Luckily, we were not able to do so, but it made us realize that we should look into the possibility of having an upgraded laptop such as the Lenovo ThinkPad L340.
This laptop came with a standard RAM of 1GB and for those of you who have experience with standard laptops, this is quite a bit of RAM. On the other hand, a couple of things can affect the performance of your laptop including the memory RAM you are using and the quality of the graphics card that you have installed.
If you want to increase your laptop’s performance, you may need to upgrade these two pieces. For now though, we will just look at how we can extend RAM in Lenovo IdeaPad L340. Since this laptop comes with a standard keyboard, all you have to do is connect the USB port from your computer to the USB port on the back of the laptop, and then you should be able to use your keyboard without any problems.
With the laptop’s internal memory already being sufficient for standard programs, there is no need for you to purchase more memory, unless you like keeping some extra space for random files, games, and multimedia.
There are many different things that you can do with the extra RAM that you can add to your laptop. And if you really want to stretch your budget, you can go with a secondary hard drive and expand the memory of your laptop, which would enable you to run multiple programs at the same time, if that would make your life more convenient.
